THE STUDIO
Oblique started in 2012. Since then we have delivered over one hundred twenty projects across six countries. We work on homes, hotels, libraries, and adaptive reuse. Every project begins with the site, the program, and the budget. Not a preconceived style.

FEATURED
SALTLINE.
A cantilevered residence on the North Fork of Long Island. The structure extends twelve feet past the cliff edge. The interior stays low and horizontal, framed entirely by the water view.
A forty key hotel in a landmark Tribeca cast iron building. The original columns and pressed tin ceilings were retained. New interiors are lined in honed travertine from Italy.
A former steel mill in the Hudson Valley converted into fourteen artist studios. The sawtooth roof and original crane tracks were preserved. A new courtyard brings daylight into the center of the plan.
A new reading hall for a branch library in Queens, New York. The ceiling is a lattice of Douglas fir that filters light and manages acoustics across the room.
